Art Project – Storytelling and Puppetry

While our school is still closed for the summer holidays, we thought we’d take the chance to look back at some of the wonderful projects carried out during the past school year.

Today we are delighted to share with you the lovely shadow puppet project led by our Art teacher together with the SunSpaceArt team.

The children had time over the Summer term to learn about shadow puppets, the history and science behind them, illustrate stories, and to work imaginatively to make their own puppets.

All year groups participated in the project, Shadows: Storytelling and Puppetry which was taught at the appropriate level for each class.

Each class made beautiful puppets and learnt to work as a group and independently on a project.
