OFSTED Reports
We are delighted to share the outcomes of our recent Ofsted inspection (May 2026).
Under Ofsted’s new inspection framework, schools are evaluated across a range of individual categories rather than receiving a single overall judgement.
The framework recognises both the quality of education and the wider experiences that support pupils’ personal growth and wellbeing.
The inspection highlighted the school’s warm community, ambitious curriculum and strong commitment to pupils’ personal development.

What it is like to be a pupil at our school
Inspectors recognised the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that pupils experience every day:
“Pupils are part of a warm, welcoming community where they settle quickly because staff know them well and value each child as an individual.”
The report also praised pupils’ enthusiasm for learning and the school’s bilingual environment:
“Pupils are enthusiastic learners. They enjoy studying a broad and interesting curriculum that develops their knowledge successfully. Whether they arrive speaking Italian, English or both, pupils learn to communicate confidently in both languages.”
Inspectors noted the high quality of pupils’ work and the preparation they receive for future education:
“Their work is of high quality.”
“They are well prepared for the next stage of their education.”
The report also celebrated the rich experiences available beyond the classroom:
“Pupils benefit from an extensive range of wider experiences that help them to feel part of a rich and vibrant school life.”
Personal Development and Wellbeing — Strong Standard
We are especially proud that the school was recognised as meeting the Strong Standard for Personal Development and Wellbeing.
Inspectors highlighted the importance placed on pupils’ emotional growth, confidence and character development:
“Pupils’ personal development and wellbeing are central to the life of the school. Leaders […] have created a rich, coherent and carefully sequenced programme […] [which] supports pupils to grow into thoughtful, confident and compassionate young people.”

Expected Standard Across Key Areas
The inspection confirmed that the school meets the Expected Standard across all key areas of school life.
Under the new Ofsted framework, the ‘Expected Standard’ is a positive judgement which means the school is doing everything it should be doing to provide pupils with a high-quality education, care and support.
Achievement — Expected Standard
“Pupils achieve well across the school. They learn the curriculum securely over time and develop increasingly detailed knowledge in the subjects they study.”
Attendance and Behaviour — Expected Standard
“Pupils behave well and learn in a calm, orderly and supportive environment. They are respectful, cooperative and keen to help one another.”
Curriculum and Teaching — Expected Standard
“Leaders have designed a broad and ambitious curriculum.”
“Leaders place a deliberate emphasis on helping pupils to secure foundational knowledge in reading, writing and mathematics.”
Inclusion — Expected Standard
“Leaders act quickly when they know a pupil is due to arrive. They gather detailed information about pupils’ prior education, experiences and any additional needs so that pupils can settle quickly and begin to learn well from the moment that they start.”
