A new Headteacher for our bilingual primary school

The school Governors are delighted to announce the appointment of Ms Francesca Di Fraia as the new Headteacher of SIAL.school.

During a rigorous selection process, Ms Di Fraia stood out as an exceptional candidate, with wide experience and a deep understanding of what it means to lead and develop children’s learning.

Francesca holds a BA Hons. Degree as well as an MA Degree in Modern Languages and Intercultural Relations from the University L’Orientale of Naples.
She completed a National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership at University College London and qualified to teach in the UK at the University of Hertfordshire. Francesca is an expert in bilingual education and has taught Modern Foreign Languages at inner-London secondary schools for over a decade.
As a leader, she has a strong track record of high achievement and positive impact. She has experience as a primary school governor, PGCE mentor, transition leader, and as a local authority network leader.
Francesca is also the mother of bilingual, biliterate and bicultural twin girls.
