Our bilingual school English/Italian school is strongly committed to supporting parents and carers on the fascinating journey of raising bilingual/multilingual children.
For this reason we are delighted to invite you to an insightful talk in conversation with Dr Roberto Filippi, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Human Development and Director of the Multilanguage & Cognition Lab at UCL, Institute of Education.
The importance of bilingual education: An investment in our children’s future

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be able to host the event on the school’s premises, but instead of cancelling it, we have decided to offer it in an online format so that you won’t miss the chance to hear from the expert and get fascinating insights into bilingual education from Dr Filippi’s research at UCL.
During his talk on Zoom Dr Filippi will explain the difference between various types of bilingualism and multilingualism and how learning two or more languages may enrich our brain. He will then focus on bilingual education, and will cover some of the recent scientific findings in this field.
The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.
Participation at the event is free of charge, but registration is compulsory.
