We love the range of activities that you and your Eco-Committee planned for delivery. The fact that they cover both indoor (a compost bin, class Energy Monitors, pen and battery recycling and creating a marine habitat display) and outdoor (planting a garden area with bulbs and plants, building a bug hotel and bird feeder and supporting both a Marine charity, a Bee charity and a local food bank) activities is excellent. Wow, what an ambitious list. It was also great to see accountability and monitoring and evaluation clearly marked in your Action Plan. Great work!

We loved seeing the excellent examples of lesson PowerPoints, student’s work and photos of displays and activities. This is a great example of layering in sustainability and climate change into your studies. We loved reading about how you had worked with the Holland Park Ecological Centre to host environmental/wildlife ‘forest School’ sessions for the EY classes, as well as how you had incorporated learning about global issues not only into the Science Curriculum (most common one) in your school but also into other areas such as Art & Craft, ICT, English and Italian (of course). We loved the idea of your pupils ‘rewriting’ Dickens’ Christmas Carol with an Eco waste & pollution theme – (Don’t hear that often!).
Tutti i bambini e gli adulti coinvolti nel progetto devono essere incredibilmente orgogliosi dei risultati raggiunti: hanno dimostrato passione, impegno e il desiderio di fare concretamente la differenza. Siete di grande ispirazione per tutti noi, continuate così!
