This is a key role supporting the smooth running of the school by ensuring that our buildings and grounds are safe, clean and well maintained. This position is part- time and term-time only, ideal for someone looking to contribute to a school community in a hands-on way.<br \/><br \/><strong>Main Duties Will Include:<br \/><\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Helping to keep the school site safe, clean, and in good working order<\/li><li>Opening and closing parts of the school as needed<\/li><li>Carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs<\/li><li>Supporting with general upkeep of indoor and outdoor spaces<\/li><li>Assisting with setting up for school events<\/li><li>Helping with supervision and routines during lunchtime and break time<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>What We\u2019re Looking For:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>A reliable, flexible, and practical individual<\/li><li>Someone who takes pride in their work and contributes positively to the school community<\/li><li>Ability to work independently and follow instructions<\/li><li>Basic maintenance experience (preferred but not essential)<\/li><li>Willingness to undertake safeguarding and first aid training<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Safeguarding Statement<\/strong><br \/>SIAL school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
