The school is open Monday – Friday.
Doors open at 8:20am
Children should ideally arrive by 8:40am so as to be ready for registration by 9:00am.
Going home time is 3:15pm.
The teachers plan a daily routine which is constant but somewhat flexible. Children like having a routine as they get used into it and can then know in advance what is going to happen next and have a sense of control.
The routine includes the process of plan-do-think in which the children are encouraged to plan their activities, carry them out and then talk about what they have just achieved.
The routine will include periods in which the children are divided in small activity groups for more focused work and periods of class activities such as story reading, singing, drama or group games.

The RECEPTION day begins to be more structured, as a stepping stone towards the routine of the Primary School, although a lot of activities are still child-led.
